How we run your Amazon PPC, step by step
Every Amplivus account follows the same process: a fit check, a read-only audit, a plan live in week one, then weekly changes and reports from one senior strategist. Here is each step, what you do, what we do and what needs your sign-off.
- Plan live in week 1

We check the fit before we take the account
Wrong-fit work hurts both sides, so we say so early, before you pay anything.
A good fit
Brands we do our best work for
- Spending $10K+ a month on Amazon adsEnough data to read every week and act on.
- 10 or more ASINsA catalog where structure and targets per ASIN pay off.
- Enrolled in Amazon Brand RegistryNeeded for Sponsored Brands and the share data in your report.
- You know your margins per productOr will share your costs so we can work them out together.
- You want profit, not sales at any priceWe grow at the pace your margins can hold.
Not a fit yet
When we will tell you no
- A brand-new product with no ad historyA full audit needs a few months of data. See launch PPC.
- Under $10K a month in ad spendOur free calculators and guides will serve you better for now.
- You want a guaranteed ACoS or sales numberNo honest agency can promise one. We agree targets and report against them.
- You want ads run without sharing sales dataWe need total sales and Brand Analytics to manage for profit, not just ad ROAS.

What happens every week, month and quarter
The same rhythm on every account, so nothing waits for someone to remember it.
Spend and budget checks. Campaigns that would run out before the evening get budget moved inside your cap, and ads on out-of-stock ASINs are paused, since Amazon will not show them anyway.
Every week
The work
- Search term report read line by line
- Converting terms harvested into exact match
- Negatives added for wasted searches
- Bids and placements tuned per target
- Budgets paced against the month
- Weekly report and change log sent
Every month
The check
- Share of top searches from Search Query Performance
- TACoS per ASIN against your margins
- Listing issues flagged: price, reviews, images
- Brand terms and rival ads on your name checked
- Next month’s budget plan agreed
Every quarter
The reset
- Senior strategist review
- Targets reset against your margins
- Prime Day and Q4 bid and budget plans
- Launch priorities for new ASINs
- A written plan for the next quarter
The rules behind every change
Six rules every strategist follows, so your account is run the same way whoever looks at it.
- 01
Targets come from your margins
Break-even ACoS equals your margin before ad spend. Each ASIN’s target sits below it, agreed in writing. Try the ACoS calculator.
- 02
Enough data before a verdict
A search term needs enough clicks to judge. If an ASIN converts at 10%, we want about 20 clicks before we call a term a loser.
- 03
Cut waste before adding spend
Budget only goes up where TACoS can take it. Wasted spend comes out first.
- 04
Brand terms measured on their own
Brand searches convert easily, so we report them apart. They should not flatter the account.
- 05
One change, one reason
Every change goes in the change log with why we made it, so any number can be traced.
- 06
Amazon’s data first
Decisions come from Amazon Ads and Brand Analytics. Third-party tool estimates are a cross-check, not the source.

Written here so you can hold us to it.
We promise
- A flat monthly fee, never a percentage of your ad spend

- Targets agreed in writing before a dollar moves
- Every change logged and reported weekly

We won’t

- Raise your ad budget without your sign-off
- Change listings, prices or coupons without your OK
- Bid on a rival’s brand name without asking
- Use anything against Amazon’s policies, like review or ranking schemes
- Share your data with other clients

- 4Remove our accessOne change in Amazon Ads and one in Seller Central. We confirm in writing.
