Fees and contracts

What you pay, what it covers and how to stop.

How much does Amplivus cost?
Our plans are $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000 a month. Your monthly ad spend sets the plan: $10K to $25K, $25K to $75K, or $75K and up. The fee is never a percentage of that spend.
Is my ad spend part of the fee?
No. Amazon bills your ad spend to you directly, and it never passes through us. Our fee pays for the management only.
Is there a minimum ad spend?
Yes: $10,000 a month in Amazon ad spend, with at least 10 ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers). Below that, start with our free audit, calculators and guides.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
Neither. Onboarding and campaign builds are in the monthly fee, and every plan runs month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Paying a quarter or a year upfront gets a discount and stays cancellable.
How do I stop working with you?
Email us 30 days' notice; there is no exit fee. We keep working through the notice period, hand over your targets, negative keyword lists and notes, and you remove our access.
Do you guarantee results?
No. No honest agency can promise a set ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sale) or sales figure. We agree targets with you in writing and report against them every week.
Getting started

The audit and your first week

How to start, what we need from you and how long it takes.

How do I get started?
Request a free Market Share Audit, or book a free 30-minute strategy session if you would rather talk first. The audit comes with a plan and a flat monthly quote in writing.
What access do you need?
For the audit, read-only Viewer access in Amazon Ads and access to Brand Analytics in Seller Central. Once you hire us, Editor access in Amazon Ads. You add us as a user.
Do you need my password?
Never. You add us as a user in Amazon Ads and Seller Central, and the Admin role stays with you. You can remove our access at any time.
How long does onboarding take?
About a week. The written audit arrives within 24 hours of access, targets are agreed in writing in the first days, and your plan is live in week one.
Do I need Brand Registry?
For Sponsored Brands and the share data in your report, yes: both need Amazon Brand Registry. The ad review in the audit works without it.
Is the strategy session really free?
Yes. It is 30 minutes with a senior strategist, with no card, no pitch and no obligation. It is open to any Amazon brand, whatever your ad spend.
Working together

Who does the work, and how

Your strategist, your reports and the changes we make.

Who will run my account?
One senior strategist, named on day one, who manages about eight brands. They read your search terms, make the changes and write your weekly report.
How often will I hear from you?
A Share Report every week, replies within 24 hours on business days, a review call every quarter, and an email before any change that needs your sign-off.
What changes need my sign-off?
Your total budget, your targets, new ad types or marketplaces, bidding on a rival's brand name and anything on your listings. Bids, negatives and budget moves inside your cap we handle each week.
Do I own my campaigns and data?
Yes. Everything is built in your own Amazon Ads and Seller Central accounts, and the reports we make for you are yours to keep.
Do you work with my competitors?
We tell you before you sign if we manage a brand that sells against yours in the same searches. Every client's data stays private.
How do I reach you?
Email contact@amplivus.com, or your strategist once you are a client. We work by email and booked calls rather than a phone line, so the person you talk to has read your question first.
Services

What we do, and what we do not

The ad types, services and accounts we take on.

Which Amazon ad types do you manage?
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, run as one system with shared targets for ACoS and TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sale).
Do you run Amazon DSP or Sponsored TV?
No. We do not offer Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform), Sponsored TV, Amazon Marketing Cloud or external traffic. Our work is the three sponsored ad types and the listings they send shoppers to.
Do you work with Vendor Central?
No. We work only with brands that sell on Amazon through Seller Central.
What else do you offer besides PPC?
Product launch and ranking, listing and A+ content, Brand Store design, keyword research, competitor analysis, campaign restructuring and a weekly Share Report built from Brand Analytics data.
Which categories do you work with?
Pet, kitchen, baby and toy, fitness, beauty, supplements, electronics, apparel, grocery and CPG, and home and outdoor, each with its own plan. If yours is not listed, ask us: the method is the same.
Markets

The US, the UK and Australia

Where we run ads and how billing works.

Which Amazon marketplaces do you cover?
Amazon.com in the US, Amazon.co.uk in the UK and Amazon.com.au in Australia, with the same senior strategists and weekly reports in each.
Do you bill in pounds or Australian dollars?
No. Our fee is billed in US dollars in every market. Amazon bills your ad spend to you in your own marketplace, as normal.
How do you handle VAT and GST?
Prices on Amazon.co.uk include VAT and prices on Amazon.com.au include GST. We check whether your ad reports count sales with or without it, and set break-even ACoS on the same basis.
What time zone do you work in?
We are based in Texas. Strategy calls are booked in your own time zone, and your strategist replies within 24 hours on business days.
Can you run more than one marketplace?
Yes. Once one account is healthy, we can plan the next marketplace and report every market together in one Share Report.
Results

Results and reporting

What to expect, and how we measure it.

How soon will I see results?
Your plan goes live in week one and your first Share Report arrives in week two. Wasted spend usually falls in the first weeks, and across our accounts ACoS is around 20% lower within 90 days.
What is in the weekly Share Report?
Your share of the top searches in your category next to your top 3 rivals, TACoS, the wasted spend we cut, and the changes we made and why.
Why do you report TACoS, not just ACoS?
ACoS divides ad spend by ad sales only. TACoS divides it by all sales, paid and organic, which shows whether your ads grow the business or just buy sales you would have had anyway.
Are your case studies real?
Yes. Each published case study is a real account we manage, shared with the client's written permission. Some brands ask us to describe them by category and market instead of by name.
